  10. These are perfect for the challenge! I especially love the first one. I have seen pelicans compete for the same post before, it’s amazing how they manage to squeeze on there!

    • Actually, it was two posts bound very closely together. So there was a bit more room, but not much. Normally I would have expected them to compete and one to drive the other off, but they didn’t. They were obviously tolerating and even enjoying their interaction…

    • The funny thing is, it’s not at at clear whether it’s two males, two females, or one of each. Not that it matters, of course—the plumage says that they are both adults, over the age of consent… ;-)
