In NYC’s Central Park, a few colorful leaves are still hanging on…
… or, having just fallen, lie glowing in the undergrowth
where hosts of squirrels rustle about, preparing for winter

All stunning ! as usual ;-)
Thank you!! :-)
Excellent photos – if you zoom in on the squirrel’s eyeball, is that you in the yellow parka ? :-)
You are right, those eyes do reflect the whole scene… I must be in there somewhere, but too hard to make out distinctly. (I wasn’t wearing a yellow parka.)
Thanks so much for following our blog!
Looking good still. :) Love that squirrel’s cute face.
They are always so cute, and very friendly :-)
Good lighting, excellent colors. You captured Fall’s final breaths nicely.
Thanks! I think some color will still linger here and there, for a few weeks even—it did last year—but most of the leaves are now down…
fall is my favorite season of the year. you must have a very good camera to capture those details.
Not really any special camera—all these photos were taken with a Nikon D80, a fairly basic DSLR camera, with zoom telephoto lenses mostly at 200-300mm…
Beautiful colours of autum!
Thank you, Taninja!
These images are gorgeous!
Thank you!!
Beautiful It’s nice to see that you still have these colors around you, Vlad.

You are most welcome—thank you, Gracie!

I love these gorgeous fall leaves. Fall is my favorite time of year and I can’t wait to return to Virginia falls next year….
The fall colors must be beautiful down there…
They usually are, but since I’m in Oman and away from home for the third fall in a row, I missed the season altogether. I will be home next fall though to enjoy the leaves in all their splendor!
Enjoy it! :-)
Lovely. The colors are stunning. :)
Thanks, Robin! The colors on your blog too!
Gorgeous!
Thanks!
