I always like the glossy appearance of the water in your photos. Nice!
Especially as the water gets a bit blurry as the light fades, as in the last photo…

Forward in Water World! Great photos – looks like next stop Bermuda!
We’ve thought about it, actually ;-)
I never doubted it.
‘Nough said. ;-)
Indeed! :-)
Love the last photo. Forward into the sunset.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Thanks, Francine!
I love your forward-looking shots from your kayak! The last one is stunning! :-)
I have a feeling everyone will like the last one most of all…
Wow, the last picture is breathtaking. I love NY, especially… in the evening!
Kayaking down the Hudson at sunset is magical…

That last image is fantastic!
Thanks, Beth!
Hi my Czech WP friend. I was just out in my kayak too. Nicely forward. Well done. :)
Out in your kayak? Wonderful! Us kayakers (not to mention us Czechs) have to stick together… ;-)
Luv it!

Terrific photos for forward! Since I will probably never e in a kayak, it is good to experience vicariously. Perfect. And Thanks for stopping by my blog today and clicking the like button on Forward!

Beautiful! Love the sunlight on the water in the first shot, but they’re all great.
Thank you!!
Too easy for you this time Vladimir! Well done.
Yes, I must have hundreds, if not thousands, of photos with the bow of a kayak sticking out forward into the frame…
The view forward in a kayak is the best waterfront property you can ever own.
Indeed… captain of your own ship, master of your own domain ;-)
That last shot is just gorgeous.
Thank you!!
I think the last one really is the best of the lot :). And I suppose in a canoe, there aren’t many possible directions other than “forward”…
Actually, going forward is positively boring to some kayakers, and they resist it at all costs ;-)
Hi there,
That last one is awesome. I am getting a small wave of nostalgia seeing that.
You kayakers rock!!
I’ll tell the other kayakers :-) :-)
The bow of a kayak will always express for me the notion of !Forward!
For me too! I just point the bow where I want to go, and we are there—admittedly sometimes many hours later ;-)
They all make the point, but I LOVE the last one.
But then again, I love the inclusive more than the lonely thrust —
The last one has had some success…
All three of those are beauties.
Belated Congrats!
Thank you!!

Lovely! You make me feel like I’m there in the boat!
It’s the sight that I look at all day…
Wonderful pictures. Thanks for sharing.
You are most welcome!
The last photo is just perfect…the prow of the kayak is perfectly centered, the buildings on both sides of the photo lead us forward to the horizon…
Yes, I picked that last photo especially for this challenge because, among the hundreds of photos that I have with my kayak’s bow leading into the frame, it’s one of the very few where the bow and Johna’s kayak in front are perfectly aligned…

So many! You have a different perspective than most ;)
Especially when we go under various structures that most people go over…
