  7. The first photo looks like the crab is winding up to punch the gull in the beak. What an excellent slide show.

    • I have another photo (not included here because it’s out of focus) where the crab is putting up both his claws like a boxer… (different crab, different gull—gulls were capturing crabs all the time at that spot).

  10. Great story line of photographs. Sadly, gulls gotta eat!
    The Gulls down in Hastings a couple of weekends ago certainly weren’t afraid of humans – they were loitering with intent to pinch fries at every opportunity!
