The colors are amazing especially EXPANDED !

It was a scramble to take all the individual photos for the panorama at the colors’ peak—not before the colors had fully developed, but before they had started fading again… a window of just a minute or two… :-)

Yes I know the minute or two factor : ) Makes it FUN !

Very nice! How many photos? What did you stitch them together with?

Seven or eight, I believe… stitched together in Photoshop.

Great panorama, and well captured with all that vibrant colour!

The camera really can’t do it justice, unfortunately! (We are looking forward to even better colors this evening, with some smog on the horizon today ;-) )

I did too, although I wasn’t all that often in downtown San Diego, but rather at La Jolla…

How beautiful! I love looking out over the bay in San Diego. You caught the perfect picture of how beautiful it can be. I love living near this view.

This is from a hotel… and of course the view from the surrounding hills is even better! :-)

I didn’t know you were on my turf! Wasn’t it the most gorgeous sunset? It’s been a long time since I’ve seen one this colorful. We don’t get anything like that in the summer.

You don’t get sunsets like this every day here in San Diego? ;-)

A lot of tourists tend to think so because that’s what they see on the postcards!

Stunning! (For panoramas, I use Hugin, personnally. Works well, and is pretty good, and free, too :) )

I haven’t really thought about how to do panoramas optimally. I don’t usually like them too much—this was an exception :-)

the thing with these shots are you need scale to fully appreciate them – great view

You need a big computer monitor… That’s why I don’t like panoramas on the whole—they look wimpy until you blow them up.

agreed but they are hard to resist – I have been throwing mine on too a 46inch television which if I could dish out amongst my various followers – I am confident i would increase my following :-) not sure if that would be on the basis of the images or the free TV – have a cracking weekend guys

A 46-inch screen will certainly do it! I mean display the image in an awesome way, of course… ;-)
You have a great weekend too, Scott!!
