I love the way you captured the sunset reflecting off the buildings, as night falls over the city. It’s a beautiful sequence of pictures.

Those reflections are what alerts us there’s a lovely sunset going on… Our apartment faces east, over the East River. So we see the sunrise, but not the sunset, which we wouldn’t know about at all if it weren’t for those reflections :-)

The pictures are very evocative, Vladimir. The colors increasing turning dark with the light illuminating the bridge.
I cannot imagine what it must be like to live in New York. My friends who have been visiting the city, love it and its inhabitants.
It is unique with your kayak sport. It is fascinating that you use the water way out of a big city.
Your way to the Hudson River Palisades has made a nice impression on me, thanks :-)
All the best,
Hanna

It’s a unique place—it’s got everything, all packed into a very small area. (If Manhattan weren’t an island, NYC would have developed quite differently, and probably wouldn’t be half as interesting today.) It’s that dense mixture that gives NYC its flavor…
