Especially at sunrise and sunset, the light down there—probably generally in the tropics—has a peculiar creamy quality that we just don’t see up here in NYC. I’ve tried to capture some of that quality in these photos :-)

Now..how does one pronounce the name of that hotel? Would it be as in Julius?

No, not as in Julius. Most people seem to pronounce it as two separate syllables, a short “ce” (as in “celery”) and then a long “sar” :-)
