Weekly Photo Challenge: Humanity

By Vladimir Brezina

This week’s Photo Challenge is Humanity, set by Thirdeyemom. She writes: “The more I see the world, the more I realize that although people are different, we’re very much the same.”

Although sometimes I do wonder if we’re all the same species—

  4. Great entry! I love the peace of the second shot juxtaposed to the crowds at Coney Island. I like your point that sometimes you wonder if we are all the same species, especially given the extreme cruelty and hatred of some human beings. Good point.

  6. What a beautifully-presented contrast! Ah, we Americans…definitely not the same species as the Brits!

  7. I’m with Colline! I prefer beaches with hardly any humans on them, and luckily I have a few not too far away.

  8. Oh dear! Is Coney Island always like that in summer? No place to walk, even? Looking at the last picture I thought I saw a torso in the foreground (cataracts, don’t you know?) which didn’t really surprise me, looking at the crush….quite disappointed to finally recognize a shopping-cum-hand-bag.

  9. Great contrasting scenes. Despite the crowds Coney Island looks to be more fun though…
