At the end of last September’s Great North River Tugboat Race & Competition, one of the competitions was for the best tattoo among the tugboat crews. This photo was from the judging of that contest… I think this guy didn’t win, but he did have by far the most elaborate tattoo…

Who needs a shirt with that ornamentation? YIKES! Unique for sure!

I believe he normally has to wear a shirt to cover all of that up… ;-)

Not a fan of tattoos I am, I have the impulse to send the person to a shower.

Hi Valdimir,
This is not for everyone! I don’t even have a tiny tattoo…
The man has an unique taste and yes, a unique courage to “flaunt it” :).

No tattoo? It’s never too late! ;-)
This man is a sailor, and you really can’t be a proper sailor without at least a little tattoo…

I agree, the water calls for tattoos. My brother got his first tattoo when he was 16, a rather silly parrot, (on his shoulder). However years later and he has an octopus, dolphins, and other magnificent marine-life all over his body – and he is a commercial diver.
I have one small tattoo, and sometimes think about another…one day maybe.

Your brother has something like this?
with a diver instead of a sailor, of course! :-)
