Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness…
You’ve captured so many of Autumn’s colours in these three shots, it’s amazing!

You know, I was going to quote Seasons of mist and mellow fruitfulness, or another line… but I couldn’t quite find the line that would fit the photos exactly… :-)

Canoe & Communications found a lovely quote ‘…the year’s last, loveliest smile…’ which sort of fits better than Keats but..your pictures conjured up the entire season for me…colourful leaves, conkers, apples, mist, fog, the smog of my youth, sharp frosty smells, bonfire night, baked potatoes, treacle toffee, parkin….then my birthday..

“Autumn… the year’s last, loveliest smile…” Perfect quote. William Cullen Bryant? Who would have guessed it? :-)
Those are lovely images of Autumn, Pamela. We don’t have too many of them here in NYC, unfortunately. But we do know it’s Autumn when the New York Marathon rolls around… :-)
