Reverse Photo Challenge

By Vladimir Brezina

I saw this scene as the light was fading this afternoon  in New York City’s Central Park (it was autumnal and chilly, by the way)…

What upcoming Photo Challenge should I reserve this photo for, do you think?

  10. What a lovely photo. Looking at the comments above…..
I had to suppress a chuckle. She probably lay on the log to have a rest and then could not get up again!

  19. Just one more reason I love New York. I’m going to be passing through yet again in January. A bit cold.. but will try my best to find some awesome photos options and possibilities. Would love some insight into January places for photos.. (I never have trouble finding great shots but would love some from a native).

  20. I’ll confess to being a fan not only of the Pre-Raphaelites but of saturated color. I even like all that yellow in the background.

  31. I can’t believe you just happened upon this woman! How lucky for you! She does look like someone out of Midsummer Night’s Dream. And then that you happened to have your camera and were able to take the picture without being noticed. What serendipity. Wonderful photo with a rainbow of gorgeous colors. :-)

  37. I agree with all the comments. It’s an incredibly beautiful photo. I hope that you one day stumble on the woman again so that you can share with her the amazing image you captured of her. Pregnancy is such tough work for most of us and I think if she could see that image it would make her day.

    • Yes :-) Although, of course, she already does have some photos of herself taken there that day, those produced by the “official” photographer… (It was an informal photo shoot of her that I stumbled upon.)
