... kayaked the waters around New York for more than 15 years in his red Feathercraft folding kayak. He was originally from (the former) Czechoslovakia and lived in the U.K. and California before settling down in New York. He was a neuroscientist at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He died in 2016.Johna Till Johnson

that’s what it takes to survive 200 million years. that’s what we’ll look like if we survive that long. haha

It certainly served them well for the first 199.99 million years—until they were almost hunted out of existence by humans. What saved them then was that they could be farmed for their skin to be made into handbags…

It works in reverse too: I had a crocodileburger for lunch one day, and it did taste like chicken (if a bit more crumbly) :-)

Wow. You are a super predator! Can you imagine having to hunt crocs to eat every day? Shudder of horror. Why do these thoughts occur to me?

I don’t think I would fancy my chances hunting a big crocodile, or even a medium-sized crocodile. Much better to have him served to me in a restaurant…
