  17. A couple of autumns ago we were in the city and I strolled through Central Park, photographing the buildings and foliage along the Ave as I walked. It is one of my favorite walks in the city, and always results in fine photos. Thanks for the memories!

    • Fruit trees of various kinds. There’s a week in April—now almost over—when they all bloom simultaneously, so some of the streets are absolutely swathed in white. After a week it’s all over…
