  3. Snow and shadows is a beautiful combination, and I like all the shades there’re revealed in your photos. Just like Carol, I am most drawn to the patterns of the fence :)

  4. Wow, the first photo looks like a painting, the blue coloured shadows are stunning! And I love the perspective.

  5. Beautiful. Shadows on snow and shadows on sand are my two favorite shadow places. But also can be very interesting on stone and water.

  7. Beautiful snow shots. With 20 below at Minnesota, it is really hard for me to take any snow pictures :-)

  10. I like them all, but the first one, with the vertical emphasis and the city spreading out horizontally, is my favorite.

  14. Looks chilly. Hope it isn’t too cold and wet for you. Brilliant shots. Those trees look really skinny, like they don’t have much strength :)

  20. These are beautiful. I’ve tried to capture the blue light in snow before, when I used to live in Philadelphia. It wasn’t until I started taking photos that I realized how the light spectrum is affected in snow.

  21. I love it when photographers can show such good photographs right where they live. I love your photos from the trips and out of state (and I like mine too), but it’s really cool when you can show beauty from your own backyard as it were.
